If you are looking for a local club, which combines exercise and fun the 'Traditional Touring Club' (TTC) could be the answer.

The TTC is a walking and cycling club based in Leigh-on-Sea, with over 100 members, it was founded in 1993 by a local man Ron Sverdloff. 

The club organises walks and cycles every Sunday with some midweek walks / cycles. Mostly these are local but we do venture out to surrounding areas such as, Suffolk, London, Kent, Hertfordshire etc. with possible transport arranged, the club has a bike trailer which can accommodate 10 bikes. As a club we try to arrange and organise affordable holidays further afield and abroad, visiting in the past Slovenia, Romania, Croacia, France, Dolomites, Ireland, Wales and many other countries and of course lots of beautiful areas in England. 

The club also has a great social calendar which includes a book club (in its 13th year), theatre trips, monthly meals, museum trips, an allotment group etc. See our monthly trip sheets for more information. We are a very friendly club of all age groups and abilities, some of our cyclist have electric bikes so don't be worried about your fitness. New members are very welcome and you are able to participate in 2 walks or cycles as a 'taster' before joining,

Our monthly meeting takes place on the third Wednesday of every month, 8.00pm at the Constitutional Club 116-118 Elm Road Leigh-on-Sea SS9 1SQ The annual subscription is £15.
